Chess is more than strategy.
It is language, tension, intuition – understood across the world, played by millions, rediscovered in the digital age. For a new project, we were invited to design two pieces that encounter the game in their own way: queen and king, crafted in the Alganic style.
Light, open, precise. Made of aluminium – drawn, welded, coated. In deep blue and soft violet.

These figures stand for what we value most at Alganic: clarity, structure, and poise.
And at times, a touch of playfulness within the greater whole. We are proud of this work.

Because it unites the things we love: craft, character – and the moments where space gains meaning.
